Registration

  • Please select this option to apply for bee school. There is no charge to apply. Accepted students will be notified by December 31, after which you will be sent an invoice for payment.
  • This registration is for folks on the waiting list that have been invited to apply to bee school. Accepted students will be notified within 3 days, after which you will be sent an invoice for payment.

Our 2024 Bee School is now full.  We limit the number of students to make sure we have bees and mentors for each family. Thank you for your interest and we hope you will join us throughout the year. We will have another class in 2025.

This is the application for the Prince William Regional Beekeepers Association (PWRBA) Beekeeping School for 2024, and will be available starting Nov 18, 2023. Please complete the form and submit. We have room for up to 25 students each year. Applications will close on Dec 31, and applicants will be notified by December 31 if they have been accepted in the 2024 school.

Please Note: Bee School includes PWRBA membership, so there is no need to join before you apply. Also, please do not purchase bees or equipment before Bee School. We will provide help and guidance on getting bees and purchasing equipment as part of the curriculum.

Also Note: If it is after the registration date, please contact us directly and ask to be placed on the waiting list.

The Prince William Regional Beekeepers Association (PWRBA) promotes responsible and sustainable beekeeping in Prince William, Fauquier, Stafford, Fairfax, and surrounding counties.
PWRBA is a volunteer organization. We meet throughout the year to discuss beekeeping and bees, and welcome new members.  Join us!
